The Grotto

Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 26, 2026

Welcome to The Grotto. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, online booking services, and services offered by The Grotto.

By using our website, booking an appointment, purchasing a service, package, membership, or gift card, or otherwise engaging with The Grotto, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any applicable policies referenced below.

Services

The Grotto provides massage therapy and related wellness services. Services may vary by therapist, location, availability, and individual client needs.

We reserve the right to modify, add, discontinue, or adjust services, pricing, hours, therapists, availability, packages, memberships, enhancements, or other offerings at any time.

Current services, pricing, and availability will generally be reflected on our website or booking platform.

Appointments & Booking

Appointments may be scheduled through our website, Mangomint booking system, by phone, or through other booking methods made available by The Grotto.

Appointment availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been successfully confirmed.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact and booking information and for reviewing appointment confirmations for the correct date, time, service, location, and therapist.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Appointments are subject to The Grotto’s Cancellation & Appointment Policy.

We request at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service price.

Clients who do not arrive for a scheduled appointment and do not contact us beforehand will be considered a no-show and will be charged 100% of the scheduled service price.

Any outstanding cancellation or no-show fees must be paid before receiving future services at The Grotto.

Please review our complete Cancellation & Appointment Policy for additional information regarding cancellations, emergencies, late arrivals, and appointments canceled by The Grotto.

Late Arrivals

Clients are encouraged to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment.

If you arrive late, your service may need to be shortened to avoid delaying appointments that follow yours. The full scheduled service price will still apply.

If there is not enough time remaining to safely and effectively provide the scheduled service, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable cancellation fee may apply.

Pricing & Payment

Prices displayed on our website or booking platform are subject to change.

Unless otherwise stated, payment is due at the time services are rendered or according to the terms associated with a particular booking, package, membership, promotion, or other offering.

Applicable taxes, fees, gratuities, enhancements, or additional purchases may be separate from the listed service price.

Promotional offers, discounts, or special pricing may be subject to additional terms, expiration dates, eligibility requirements, or restrictions.

Cards on File & Authorized Charges

When you provide a payment method through our booking or payment system, your payment information may be securely processed and stored by our third-party payment provider.

Where permitted and properly authorized, the payment method associated with your account or appointment may be used to process charges related to scheduled services, purchases, applicable cancellation or no-show fees, memberships, packages, or other amounts you have agreed to pay.

Payment information is processed through third-party providers, and The Grotto may not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.

Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased from The Grotto may be used toward eligible services or purchases in accordance with the terms provided at the time of purchase and applicable law.

Gift cards:

  • Have no cash value except where required by law
  • May not be redeemed for cash except where required by law
  • Must be presented or associated with the client’s account when redeemed
  • Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or used without authorization unless The Grotto is able to verify the remaining balance and ownership

Any expiration dates, promotional restrictions, or other conditions will be applied only as permitted by applicable law.

Packages

Packages may include multiple services or other benefits offered for a single purchase price.

Unless otherwise stated, packages are intended for use by the individual who purchased or received the package and may not be shared or transferred without approval from The Grotto.

Package inclusions, eligibility, redemption rules, and other applicable conditions will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Promotional or discounted packages may be subject to additional terms.

Memberships

If The Grotto offers memberships, the specific price, included services, benefits, billing frequency, cancellation terms, and other membership conditions will be disclosed at the time of enrollment.

By enrolling in a recurring membership, you authorize the applicable recurring charges according to the membership terms presented to you at enrollment until the membership is canceled or otherwise terminated in accordance with those terms.

Membership benefits generally have no cash value and may be subject to availability, scheduling requirements, or other reasonable restrictions.

The Grotto may modify future membership pricing, benefits, or terms with appropriate notice when required.

Any membership-specific terms presented during enrollment will apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.

Promotions & Special Offers

Promotions, discounts, referral offers, introductory offers, contests, or other special offers may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, dates, availability, or other conditions.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotional offers may not be combined with other discounts or promotions.

The Grotto reserves the right to correct errors, prevent misuse, and discontinue or modify promotional offers, subject to applicable law and any commitments already made to clients.

Massage Therapy & Wellness Services

Massage therapy and wellness services are intended to support relaxation, mobility, recovery, stress reduction, general wellness, and other appropriate therapeutic goals.

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care from a qualified healthcare professional.

The Grotto and its massage therapists do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medical treatment.

Clients are responsible for informing their therapist of relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, medications, changes in health status, or other information that could affect the safety or appropriateness of a service.

If you have concerns about whether massage or another service is appropriate for you, you should consult an appropriate healthcare professional.

Client Communication & Consent

Communication is an important part of massage therapy.

Clients are encouraged to communicate their preferences, comfort level, pressure preferences, areas they would like addressed or avoided, and any discomfort experienced during a session.

You may request that pressure or technique be modified or that work on a particular area stop at any time.

Consent to massage or another service may be withdrawn at any time.

Professional Conduct

The Grotto is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and safe environment for clients and therapists.

Sexual comments, requests, advances, harassment, threatening behavior, inappropriate touching, or other conduct that compromises the safety or professional boundaries of a therapist, client, staff member, or guest will not be tolerated.

A therapist may immediately end a session if inappropriate, unsafe, threatening, or abusive behavior occurs.

The Grotto reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing, professional boundaries, or appropriate operation of the business.

Minors

Massage or wellness services provided to minors may require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Additional requirements regarding parental or guardian presence, consent forms, or participation may apply depending on the client’s age, service requested, and applicable requirements.

The Grotto reserves the right to establish reasonable procedures for services involving minors.

Results & Individual Experiences

Every person responds differently to massage therapy and wellness services.

While our goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care, The Grotto cannot guarantee a particular physical, therapeutic, medical, or wellness outcome from any service.

The current version will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively as appropriate and will not override rights or obligations that cannot legally be changed retroactively.
